Few Brand new agents are going to spend $800 a week on Dm leads . (20x$40 a lead) week in week out . Postage going up in jan again . Curious to see what fixed cost leads go to . Some areas already $45-$50

That has not been my experience. New agents starting up have been less price sensitive to the higher lead costs than the agents who have been on them for years.
