I get many questions from my clients about how the new "Google Caffeine" will effect the web or the Search Results.
Trust me, I have some basic knowledge of the new system, but do no claim to know it all.
But here is my take and opinion:
1. Google will continue on changing their internal system under the hood to allow them to crawl larger sections of the web much faster than ever before.
2. Faster Indexing of this information and faster computation of the relevancy to the Search Term.
3. They will Rank and Return the most Relevant Results based exactly on the "Search Term Query" and which site provides the "Best" and "Most" Useful information.
Now lets discuss how this will effect a Brand New Website and the ability to rank and compete in Todays Search World.
Number one problem with new websites in the past, was getting Google to crawl the complete site quickly and index the content and understand the relevancy to apply to their Search Results.
This is correcting as we speak, I have been able to get some pages of new sites recently indexed within 24-48 hours.
If google does not have your information or content in their index, your information does not exist.
Bottom Line, Build your Website around the "Phrases and Terms that individuals are searching for. Structure you website in an easy and simple site to answer and educate individuals with tons of good useful information.
Explain in a non-intrusive manner on how the products or service you offer, could solve their individual situation. Provide an quick - easy and simple way to contact you to discuss this further. Don't make them hunt for it.
Quit focusing your site on the "Quote" Biggest problem with Insurance Sites today? No good useful information, Just the same old song and dance, Get a Free Quote, Let me show you 250 different plans and confuse you more.
The term "Health Insurance Quote" no matter what State I have researched, is usually one of the very lowest number of searches, compared to all the other Major Terms.
Keep it simple, when you buy a Drill, its not about the Drill, its about the Problem (The Hole!!)
