LOL--funny part is we only paid $6k for it & it was in perfect shape with brand new tires. Previous owner thought the engine was leaking oil, so we took a chance. But, come to find out, the oil change shop spilled oil on engine, so when she got it checked, they said it could be engine issued. We cleaned it all up, put dye in the oil & never seen another drop of oilI started to sat I would be ticked if they totalled my paid for 3 year old car. And had to buy a new one.
However, give me 9k, and It cost me 3k and a mallet? That works for me.
Did you give her the 6k?
So, I had $6k into it, got $6k net back from insurance, so have zero invested in the car. She has driven for a year & still drives great, could sell it for $5-$6k today. crazy you cant even tell.
Oh, I forgot, a kid hit her in school parking lot too & drove off. School found him. He paid $500 for the scratches on her other quarter panel. The Scratches buffed off, so we now are -$500 invested in the car.
Crazy--you can even tell there is any damage unless you get within a few feet
