New Era

I've just looked at these rates (for Med Supps). They are significant;y lower than everyone else in Georgia. Why don't they get more publicity? Is there any reason I shouldn't be selling this comapny?

Please excuse the double post. My computer said the first one didn't go through.

I've been writing them. Not competitive at the older ages. Make sure you get 18% commish and not 16% that some are offering.

Don't you have rate sheets from the other carriers? All you have to do is look at each of them and compare.

Sorry about the wasted question. It's just what popped into my head when I read your post, and I managed to type it and send it before my brain said "look at the rest of the rate sheet".

Thanks for responding anyway.

On the subject of new era, do you guys know of any smaller med supp carriers with a good policy price in the 67 - 72 age range?

Thanks to your discussion here I found a new great one in that age range while searching for info on New Era. It's Government Personnel Mutual Life. Their pricing on females is some of the best out there starting at age 67. Their first premium increase doesn't hit until age 68. For a 67 year old female it's a great price. It'll be one of my fav 67 year old policies.

Has anyone seen the GOVplan underwriting questions yet? Do they ask similar questions like Mutual/Gerber's yes/no's?

GO LT GOV PETER KINDER!!! SUE BABY SUE!!!
