The 2017-18 budget for CA is $122B.

Where will the $400B come from to fund this in addition to all the other crap they are paying for out there?

According to their math, about 50% would be recaptured from existing Medicare and Medi-Cal funds.

Pretty much how it always ends with these Sovereign Citizens.

Article 4 of the Articles of Confederation simply states that "free inhabitants" of one state are granted the same rights as free inhabitants of the several states. The idea was that no state could deny rights, bar entry or levy duties for entry to a free inhabitant of another state. It specifically excludes "paupers, vagabonds, and fugitives from justice."

It is also part of the US Constitution Article 4 Section 2.

The citizens of each state shall be entitled to all privileges and immunities of citizens in the several states.

A person charged in any state with treason, felony, or other crime, who shall flee from justice, and be found in another state, shall on demand of the executive authority of the state from which he fled, be delivered up, to be removed to the state having jurisdiction of the crime.

No person held to service or labor in one state, under the laws thereof, escaping into another, shall, in consequence of any law or regulation therein, be discharged from such service or labor, but shall be delivered up on claim of the party to whom such service or labor may be due.

15% payroll tax increase + 2.3% tax on business gross receipts (including gross commissions for folks like us that are commission only?) + 2.3% sales tax.

The 2.3 biz tax and 2.3 sales tax are pass through taxes paid by the consumer.

If I read this correctly that's almost 20% in new consumer taxes. That's a tough sale.

Even for the folks who will/are getting a minimum wage bump to $15 is still going to create a financial drain on most folks in the middle class.
