Welcome to the forum dwilliams. Save yourself the trouble of setting up shop with no experience. Hook up with a local independent broker that will let you write under their contracts (for a price) and then let you take your book with you in three years when you can go out and get your own contracts.
In other words: don't try to re-invent the wheel. Go work at a wheel factory for a while and then when you have the knowledge, make your own.
