New to FE...Where to Start

I've been working Medicare and haven't done much with FE, but I've decided to add this to my bag.

I have contracts with Americo, Baltimore Life, Monumental, RNA, and Foresters.

My current FMO for Medicare Advantage plans does mailers for me....but the mailers aren't FE focused and I've found it hard to transition into FE with Medicare clients. (I need to work on this...)

Anyways, I'm looking to do some of my own marketing working with Medicare/FE combo mailers in Ohio....focusing mainly on rural areas.

What are some other methods to get prospects in Ohio now that the solicitation rules are pretty strict?

Since you are with Monumental, have you tried their mailers? They are one of the cheapest in the industry.

I haven't tried any mailers yet. Just trying to get my ducks in a row to make sure I'm doing an effective mail piece.

Is it good to use an insurance company name on mail piece even though you have other companies? (does Monumental actually help pay for the mailer or just the cards?)

Also, any thoughts on going the combo mailer route with Medicare/FE?

Monumental's lead drop is $300 per 1000 piece.

I don't think it will matter either way if Monumental's name is on there or not.

As for the combo, I'll just say that Med Supp mailers tend to have a higher rate of return than the FE mailers.
