I ran into a HS friend of mines today, she's in insurance... Has her life license awhile & just completed her p&c license. After talking awhile, it was clear she wasn't sure what she wanted to do with either license & it didn't seem like she's had much success or liked whatever she's been doing.

So I mentioned FE of course & told her a few pros & cons, but very lil. We also talked about the difference between captive (employee) vs non captive. She's a lil scared of not having a steady paycheck... But so far a steady paycheck hasn't satisfied her either.

Which finally brings me to my point... I want an article, post, or video that will give her a good honest overview of the FE biz, the good, the bad & the ugly!

Any suggestions? I'd like to send her something on Facebook.

Thx

Cut and paste some of the good stuff you find here on the Forum.

Better yet, find a good thread and link it to her.

Lastly, tell her all about Mah who will be the industry's next millionaire as an immigrant with a language barrier and accent...not to mention killer goggles.

Somehow I knew Mah would be mentioned...but how do u know she has a language barrier?

Anyway, Im not going to sit & cut & paste diff parts of diff poss...it aint that serious! Just wondering if there was somewhere I could direct her.

She often talks about her ESL class after "Coming to America".

As for your friend, instead of facebook, why not just tell her to come to this site and look around? You'll surely be exposing her to the good, bad, and the ugly.

A lot of the unlocked pages on my website are aimed directly at the newly licensed agent that doesn't have a handle on how things work in this business. She could learn quite a bit poking around on there. This forum is the Mecca BUT it has too many conflicting viewpoints for the totally green agent to make sense of some of it.

If she won't take a little initiative to search around a bit, she doesn't have a strong desire to do it anyway. Http://www.fexcontracting.com

Check her backbone, take her on a ride along and see if she can see herself in your shoes.

When I hired a lady, she ended up being the best hire, but she was a tough tough cookie and could handle the objections, driving, and the tough neighborhood.

You can give her info, but best to take her out on an apt and see first hands.

Exactly what I was looking for! I have to admit I learned so much from this forum. I didnt even know what final expense was till I joined here. It was love at first sight honestly. It totally changed my perception and my desire. It drove me to find one of the best FE IMO with fabulous carriers. Cant wait for my 10k income!
