Hi everyone,

I'm Josh, I am brand new to the forum here but have been actively learning from the posts for a few months now. I have had my 440 license for a little over a year now and have been working as a CPSR at a State Farm agency since last February (2014). I became the office manager at my agency last July, but we are a small agency of only a few employees so I don't know how much that says, haha.

I started studying for my 215 back in January and finished my pre-licensing at the beginning of this month. I took my state test on Wednesday this week and surprisingly passed it on the first try! So I am just awaiting the state to issue my 215 now, should be any day. I am so excited, it was a big accomplishment for me! My agent has agreed to do a 50/50 split on all life commissions with me, I think that seems to be the standard scenario. I've already had two potential people ask about life insurnace this week, so I feel like I can get off to a great start. We haven't sold life insurance in this office in a long time, so I'm excited to see where this can go.

Anyway, just wanted to stop by and say hello. If you have any tips for me, please feel free to share! I will get my 220 next but I am in no real hurry to do that right now.
