Hi all. I just came across this board when looking for some tips on cold calls and then say screw it, I might as well join. I'm new to the CL world. I was training for nearly a year for a captive company, but I wasn't able to get back home to take a territory, so I took a position with a big broker where I can represent a wide varities of insurance companies. I have 0 book of business and really am new to this whole deal. I have plenty of sales experience in other fields, and know the insurance lingo from my training, but at 26 and barely a month into actually being in the field, I know I have a lot to learn. Any advice would be great!
