I am in the process of getting licensed in Florida, but have about 6 year of insurance experience from my home county of Israel.
I know the best way for me to get into the local market would be through being an employee, but I was hoping to maybe be able to find an established agency where I can learn from a pre-retiring owner (which obviously will have a lot of experience) and potentially buy into the agency, or buy-out the owner when he decides to retire.
I know I might be to specific, however, I wanted to hear some other advise on how to get into the market as an independent as fast as possible or if you have any ideas on where would I be able to find agents that might fit the profile I have previously described.
