Working on a commercial package for a client and they own a property as an individual. My client is very concerned with maintaining Non-Owned & Hired Auto Liability under their commercial liability, however most carriers are responding that they do not offer Non-Owned & Hired Auto Liability when the insured is an individual, but rather only to corps or llc's.
Does anyone have any insight as to why multiple carriers take this stance? Regardless of the type of insured (individual, corp, llc, etc.), doesn't potential exposure still exist?
