I'll bite.... what's the game plan with the non-standard carriers? I'll be the first to admit you can do reasonably well with them, if you have a plan and the patience to pull it off.
It's a counter intuitive market for a lot of agents. Makes it a decent niche to go after, though there are a lot of agencies that specialize in this market.
I don't know much about the New York market, except that they have some strange laws and rules which make a lot of carriers not play there (or they have a separate company to deal with New York), so I can't help with the specific carrier question. Just realize you need a game plan and expect a few bruises starting up.
