I'm trying to figure out why I would get Norvax. What are you guys using it for?

The carriers that I've chose to represent all have a quoting tool. I'm probably only going to recommend three carriers. One is web based and the other two are desktop quoting tools.

I'm not interested in offering online quotes on a website right now. The carriers have quote engines. I've got a spreadsheet with the ability to put carrier plans side by side. I can use AQ conference without Norvax.

Is there anything that will make using Norvax worth it? What am I missing?

Depending on your source for leads, probably 80% of the folks out there don't want to talk to an agent. So if you are going to do it all for them, and limit them to 3 carriers, you are going to miss out on a lot of business.

$3 a day is a pittance to pay for an assistant who can help prospects run their own quotes, view various plans side by side, do automatic follow up, . . .

I'm starting with cold calling and maybe walking.

I guess it is a handy tool if you can send it to someone by email and they can run their own quotes. Definitely if you are buying leads.

As far as limiting myself to three carriers, there are two other reputable carriers that I am appointed with but both are much more expensive in general than the rest. The rest are bottom of the line or have the cap on brand name prescriptions. This leaves me with three to focus on. Should I be looking at this differently?

It's that my time also has value. I closed a deal two weeks ago - very intellectual type of guy - he stalled on the $500 drug deductible with "that sounds awful high."

Yes, I could have went into each carrier's site, worked up a new quote for each carrier and showed him that's the standard.

However, I was in Norvax and simply did a side-by-side. He agreed that "it is what is is" and we did an app.

Until I got Norvax, that's what I did. In fact, at times, I kind of miss it. If you like what you're doing, stick with it. Norvax has helped me, but I use it to the max, a bit unlike most.

The biggest thing norvax does for me is save time. I also do alot of cold calling. If i have a good couple of days and generate 8 leads or so, it can take a few hours sitting in front of the computer running quotes. I usually check quotes with 6 to 7 carriers. 8 leads X 6 carriers = 48 times i have to input the required info to get all my quotes. With Norvax i only do it 8 times. That being said, once we narrow down the field, i will go to the carrier site and input the info.

Norvax is a very beneficial system that allows online quoting and enrollment. This is a standard program that can be used as a back office to manage your business. You can also integrate Norvax with your CRM. Our organization has been impressed with their integration capabilities.

I've been impressed with how much you and your organization has spammed this forum.:nah:

Thank you for your input. It is my personal opinion that if we have the ability to assist people in their growth and development, that we should do all we can to assist them. I am increasingly amazed at how some people, especially new people to this forum are treated and sometimes ridiculed for having questions. Though their question may be simple or basic to an experienced broker, this may not be the case with the new broker.

I joined this forum because broker partners that I work with told me that they use this forum to ask questions. I think an outlet like this is great. Responses that we "members of the forum"give, may actually help someone take their business to the next level or even just help them stay in the business. Yes, the company I work for has more resources than most GA's/IMO's or even in some cases, insurance carriers, this enables me to be even more helpful to new brokers with questions...If brokers visit our site and want us to help them with resources and product...great....If not, great...As a professional in this industry, our job is to assist people...That does not mean you have to make money with them to assist them...

Again, thank you for your comments...Good luck to you and your business...

Spammers are mostly ignored. I would be surprised if you pick up any clients from this forum.
