NYC Final Expense

What is up with NY. I have seen some mention about licensing/appointment hurdles? I'm in AZ and a prospect told me she is looking for final expense insurance for her ex-husband who lives in NY. Just curious to get any information I can.

Try Foresters. NY has a lot of state specific guidelines for insurance. A lot of the FE carriers don't appear to offer their FE products in the NY marketplace.

NY has lost quite a few Final Expense carriers lately including Presidential which just **** down shop with those products. We normally use Foresters or Columbian Financial Group in NY state. Rates, commissions etc. are great!! NY state lets you do everything online with appointments for Life. I think it is still $125 non-resident producer. Everything is done on thier site.

Foresters won't do him any good in NY as a non-res other than give him the ability to split the case with someone who goes to see the guy F2F.
