Off Exchange carriers Appointment's what do I need to know?

Also, I would say 5% of ACA market is off exchange. Not worth the effort even in 2 states, much less 25
That's getting bigger with ICHRA. Not everywhere but some states.

Also depends on where you get leads. We have some agents that write a lot because most of their business comes from financial advisors with early retirees. But if that's not your market, you might as well ignore it

I dont do group and won't touch hra's, market too small and admin a pain i dont want to be involved with.

I get lots of FA referrals, and most control income to get aptc and csr. Some don't, but won't risk aptc refund by doing off mkt in case they have huge loss or biz expense etc

Smart. Some people think ICHRA is an individual product but it's not. It's a group product and there is a lot more to it than just adding members to your book like it's the MP. I've seen some agents get underwater because they don't understand it.

I can't tell if Ehealth will offer OFF or ON Market plans or both?

Some ICHRA TPA's will do both but they usually do not explain that if the employee chooses an on exchange plan, they are not able to get a tax free reimbursement. You can only get the tax benefit if the plan is off exchange.

Please clarify. Are you talking Aca aptc reimbursement or HRA reimbursement? Why would it matter as aca MP apps have hra questions and doesn't say to check w employer

HRA Reimbursement. It can only be tax free off exchange. MP doesn't know the rules of ICHRA, they are only determining if the applicant qualifies for a plan/subsidy.
