Oh no I had no problem with meeting with the guy taht fast as he had to go to work at 2. I told him I would get over there asap and would have made it on time, if he could have verified his wife was going to be able to be there.

If I had known his wife was going to be there I would have blown off the $30 policy.

I also find the smaller dollar amount policies are the most likely to lapse as if money is that tight any small unexpected expense around the home will cause them to miss a payment.

Such as a

plumbing expense(stuck kotex)

license tabs due

car needed a battry

bond money

needed a bag of crack.

can of sisco

It jsut seems so many little quirky things can cause a $14 a month policy to go bad

There is another consideration about the "small" premium policy.. it isn't large enough to seem important to them.

In my debit days, I had a manager that would advise agents who were having a hard time getting a policyholder to pay was, "Write them some more. They don't have enough to be proud of what they have"... He also advised that if you are having to chase a small premium, you might as well chase a large premium to make it worth your time.

It certainly seems like you spend way more time babyssitting the small ones. Its like that in the car business as well. The skinnier the deal the more time you spend both before and after the sale.

Yes, I 2nd that ^^^ about the car business... The more of a "mooch" they were, the more problems & baby sitting you would have to do!
