Older Driver's Premiums

I hate to think what this guy's insurance may cost. For you P&C guys here is a question. At what age does auto insurance premiums start to go up due to the older age of the driver.

Not an age, but depending on the carrier, it will be between 40 and 50 years of driving time, usually somewhere between 55 and 65.

In states that allow auto insurance rating by age, increases start around age 70, but this can depend on the company. I think I remember hearing somewhere, drivers older than 80 have an accident frequency similar to teen drivers.

I had a customer comes in he was 73 years old and several carrier denied him but I ended up outing him with kemper for about $60/ month liability in CA
