Online Training ??

How would you know that such online training is legit or not? I know it is more convenient but is it really worth it?

I tried prelicensetraining.com and I hated their website. I can never tolerate any website that immediately plays a video clip with sound. That annoys me to no end. And second, they would log me out if I was idle for over 20 minutes. Each time that happened, I would have to log back in and find the place where I left off, because they didn't bother to save it. I'm a busy person, and I often get interrupted in the middle of training. I found that prelicensetraining.com was not for me. I never did finish my training course there because I lost patience with them.

I did much better with 52hours.com. No annoying video clips on their homepage and no annoying logouts. This helped me get through the coursework faster. They're not perfect either. Often the test at the end of a section would ask a question on something that wasn't covered until much later in the course. But this didn't happen often enough to be a major nuisance.

Hope this helps!

you should be able to easily verify online licensing companies on the california doi website... I used online licensing and passed my test just fine.
