P&C Licensing Headaches

Have any other agencies dealt with headaches around licensing in NY & MA? We are an agency based out of GA but hold out of state licenses and write business across the country. NY & MA seems to be giving us the biggest headaches with getting our licenses squared away. In NY we had to create a secondary business name and MA is requiring some sort of letter none of our markets have even heard of. We have sent in multiple documents but still don't seem to have formal approval and it is nearly impossible to get the right person on the phone. Any guidance would be appreciated!

Yes absolutely. We are a network that is licensed in every state in the US sans 3. NY was by far the lengthiest and most frustrating process of any state.
