Yeah not getting any response on the cold calling forum so I thought I'd try this here..

Are people still cold calling for personal lines ?

If so, how do you get your leads. Phone book? Sales Genie?

Whats your approach on the phone? are you ex-dating or just requesting to send a proposal?

networking, (i'm a popular dude LOL!) website, referrals, buy internets leads once in a while, mailings and a couple top secret things! :-)

I second referrals, my personal lines are all from cpa's and real estate agents, I do more hanging out with them than staying in my office.
