Part A Premium Assistance

IF he can get everything in place chemo shouldn't be a problem with Part B and a G plan.
True for B and G provided some of his treatment doesn't fall under D (for example pills for treatment - not talking about anti nausea meds or if he gets shingles while doing chemo). And provided something doesn't happen that he needs to be admitted (eg gets sick enough with a compromised immune system due to chemo; or gets covid while in chemo, or after while his immune system is still compromised due to chemo and needs hospitalized).

As many of these also reimburse you for insurance premiums and he doesn't need help with chemo due to G, if A is really expensive for him, that should help with that.

What you could do is just give him the information and then he could decided if he wanted to look into it further himself. That way he can keep private what he wants to but still have resources he may or may not be eligible to access.

@annon123 his other D meds hit the $2k cap, so even if other meds are added in they are $p

I will direct him to LIS info.

@pogo have not considered Obamacare. If he can't afford $1k/month A,B, etc premiums I doubt he can afford Obamacare plus the $5k OOP
