Part B Premium and Med Supps

The question was would someone receiving assistance for their Part B premium be a GOOD prospect for a Med Supp.

They would be a prospect, but certainly not a good prospect. Unless she reduces the number of premium cable channels, lowers her cell phone minutes, etc.

QMB specifically pays part A and B premiums, plus deductibles and co-insurance. That is what it was designed to do.

If it doesn't, it is not QMB.

No so, unless they are a QMB plus. A QMB may get some paid. You need to find out in each situation, but, it is not all paid for a QMB. At least, not here in Ky and In. Could be different elsewhere, I only know how it works in my backyard.
