Pelosi - Keep the Kids on 'til 27

Okay, enough of it all. Just keep the kids on their parents' plan. How she picked age 27, I don't know. Seems to me that it would've been a better idea if she said the parents can keep the kids on their health insurance until the kid reaches Medicare age at 65.

In PA a "child" who is unmarried and has no dependents can be covered up to age 30. This applies, also, to full-time students.

The reason she chose age 27 is because she also is proposing to start social security and medicare benefits at age 28.

Why the hell should ANYONE be subsidizing their kids until the age of 27, whether it's for health insurance or even rent?

Let the little bastards become adults and stop coddling them! It's a HUGE part of why our country is as f'ed as it is.

The coddling won't end with Pelosi and Obama. Rick, your post is sad but true. When is the Obama cell phone subsidy plan going to kick in with the 30 and under crowd? I heard his plan includes unlimited texting and unlimited internet access. Won't cost those 30 and under but $20 a month now.

My state is getting that soon and it will spread like wildfire. The state regulators extracted it from the phone companies as a concession to buy protection from the regulators.
