Perfect FE Plan

I would want to keep it all non-med. Just real strict and long term health questions for the super preferred. It would have to be priced higher than RNA's WL. But I think if it's priced lower than any other FE product with stricter qualifications that would be a sweet spot.

Couldn't all 5-tiers be on one app if it's all non-med?

Ideally it would replace an agent having to carry 5 companies around if it's designed just right. Then the agent could sell 90% with one company and win more trips, qualify for lead credits, etc.

How could you get the 10 year look back on the same app as a question with 1 year look back?

You could cascade it, but it would probably piss people off being asked about 1 year, and then 20 questions later being asked about 10 years.

Settlers cascades their in the opposite manner.. They ask about 5 years and then ask the same questions with a 2 year look back.

I would think the best way to do it would be to have the question and then have blocks beside the question to check. .10yrs.. 5yrs.. 2 yrs, etc. Then you would only have to ask the question once but the rate would be quoted according to the block checked.

Yeah, that will go real well. From what I understand, the average agent can barely fill out an app as it is, and the home office grunt can barely read one.

That is way too complex for the average agent or home office grunt.

one app is not possible with most states. non med apps must be separate from simple issue apps which have the sliding tiers.

if you make it just non med then it is a rated policy if you want your first three tiers. Graded and GI plans would not be possible. two apps would be the only way to get it past the State's review process.

When I ask the health questions now on a multi-tiered app, I don't ask about a one year or two year. I ask the longest version that will come up on the application. Get it all out there before you call in and do the phone interview.

I know that Settlers does the same thing on their phone interviews. They don't ask the question as a two year question and then later ask the same question as a 5- year question. They just ask the 5-year unless something is a yes.

That is exactly what the company in question did on their current version. They have each question one time and have check boxes out to the right for 2-years, 5-years and ever. That part seems pretty smart.

It's a small regional company I work with. They mainly do Preneed insurance but they have an FE also that is currently mainly sold in funeral homes. If they get the new reboot done on it and make it a good product I'll bring it out to the masses.
