My Mom gets hers every year from Walgreens under Part B. No fuss, no muss. I think the difference is that the flu shot is cut and dry about how to file the claim while insulin is a different animal.

Thanks for the reassurance. The medicare landscape is new to me and I also am blessed with being relatively healthy so am not familiar with the spectrum of medicines possibly needed by the less healthy, or the issues with getting them (beyond the problems of paying for them).
