Physician's Services

Has anyone tried to market to Physician's? If so, what have you done that has worked.

I am about to get started on a direct mailing campaign to local doctor's. There are so many different lines of insurance that they have and it seems that they all run in packs.

My thinking is that if you can get a couple, it can snowball into getting a lot more of them.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I'd save the postage if I were you.

I personally don't work with doctors due to the difficulty in getting to them, but many in my office do. The best way to get to them is a referral or a drop-in. If you decide on drop-ins, use the money you saved on mailers to bribe your way past the gatekeeper.

That said, I do like drop-ins. The key is getting the gatekeeper to like you. If you can quickly build rapport with the gatekeeper you are typically golden. Just keep dropping in and chatting to the gatekeeper. Also, don't waste trying to set an appointment right away unless there is a great opening. Instead, just try to get some face time with the doctor, introduce yourself. Let them see you once or twice and then try for an appointment. Don't be afraid to buy the doctor lunch, and buying the doctor's staff lunch is a great way in.

Doctors seem to have a high interest in disability income coverage. You might look here for really special products no one else is offering them www.piu.org

If that doesn't work, try this approach:
