I've run through a bunch of companies and hadn't found one yet, but thought I'd post up here to see if you guys have any suggestions. The biggest hang up for qualifying is there is no GI in Arkansas. No foresters modified, no presidential graded.... nothing I can find but here's some info:

Female
63
good ht/wt
no tobacco
40 units of insulin/day
diabetes diagnosed at 51
Breast cancer 5 yrs ago - only incidence
filled cancer type prescription 4/4/11 (anastrozole) i.e. post cancer treatment
only other meds:
meloxican
citalopran

Any ideas or suggestions welcome,

Thanks,
Jim

This would be a std SIWL with United Heritage. While not a price leader a great little company. Non contestable claims paid with in 24hrs of funeral home notice. Awesome customer service. And they do write in your state. You would want to make sure you list the anastrozole as maintenance.

In Arkansas you can write her with Monumental life with their Standard Immediate final expense product (not graded or ROP). The reason they will accept her is because her cancer treatments were 5 years ago (their limit is 4 years) and they DO NOT consider cancer maintenance drugs as treatment. I just read the Agent Guide to make sure. I'm in Arkansas and if you need any help PM me.

Ditto on this. Make sure to add it in the remarks section, and call the underwriter and let them know the situation. UH is really good about this type of case.

They also have a lead financing program, and a group trying to run an EFES imitation.

And I am in Little Rock.

Oh and you can talk to the Underwriters any time for any reason. Great people to work with. Pretty good tobacco rates.

Arimidex is considered a maintainece drug, as opposed to treatment by most carriers.

Thanks for the answers! I have a contract w/Monumental and will call them and talk to underwriting.

I will also look into United Heritage.
