Plan F for GA

I have cheap pens as a backup to the four expensive ones I purchased and can't find. Oh well, I will buy another expensive one with the commission from the med supp! Hey, I always assumed there were no stupid questions? perhaps I asked one!? lol

I know, I know, but if you LOOK again I was not talking about Plan D. I mentioned MOO's proposed rates for Plan N.

Let's look at some real numbers. In zip codes 300-303, 308-309, 311, 313-314, 399.

For a 70 year old female, non tobacco Plan F is $146.78. Plan N is 109.35. The difference in cost is $37.43 per month or $449.16 per year. Deduct the $155 Part B Deductible and the net savings is $294.16 per year.

Are you telling me that seniors in GA do not consider a savings of $300 a year enough money to "mess with"? If not, they sure are different than the ones I talk to in MO.

So, tisk, tisk back at ya.

So how do we figure in Dr. and ER copays? How many times will they go?

That would be great for seniors that never go to the Dr.
Other than that, you'll have to take the savings of $294.16 down a bit.

The few I've already talked to about N, I've done this:

Take the savings net the Part B ded. Divide by $20... in this example you have about 14 dov's. Now that gives them actual information they can relate to. I had one under 65 client I talked to about this... he goes every damn week. NEVER MIND!! This will not work for you.

I know, snide is funny! lol but hey in between the "should have known" comments is real quick and to the point info, so pat yourselves on the back and keep me up to date, because I am too busy/lazy to look, haha

It is very possible that each copay will not be $20. MOO's copay has been established as either 20% or $20, which ever is the lowest. I checked one time and it seems to me that Medicare was approving around $40 to $50 for an office visit. (All diagnostic testing is paid 100% buy Medicare so it isn't figured in.)

This being the case, the copay would only be around $8 to $10 dollars. This would double the amount of visits in your example.

Apparently each company is at liberty to establish what they are going to set the copay at. The rules and regs specifically identify the copay as "up to $20" but do not set a lower limit.

Just being a bit snide. Sorry.

I like the Pilot G2 Pro. Hard to find, but decent looking at $3.50-5.00 each.

Hands down, the Uni-ball Vision is the preferred choice of every senior who I let use it to sign the app. When they started to try to talk me out of it I decided to let each new client just keep it. I now carry a briefcase full of them.

Okay, maybe not "full of them" but I do carry several. Okay, would you believe four or five? haha

I don't know if Gordon does or not but, no, I don't get free pens for saying that.

Seniors are very, very sneaky, you have to keep one eye on them at all times. Most will only agree to an appointment just to steal your pen.

I've discovered that giving it to them makes them feel so guilty for having tried to steal it that they will sign the app.

There, I've said it. The deep dark secret to my success.
