My Dad had a friend growing up, named Shannon. He told me they were best friends and he wanted a son named Shannon. My mom was in agreement because in the Hebrew translation it means "God is gracious". Our heritage is Irish and American Indian. The Irish meaning of Shannon is "little wise owl" My Moms dad is half American Indian(Black Foot tribes from the Dakota's), he liked the Irish trans because of his heritage.

Who actually own's a down line? Just the the idea sort of makes me want to spit...

No one "OWNS" a down line... they are people and not yours... If you build with the idea that you own agents... you need to get a check up from the neck up...

It's a business... you have to beat your competition... if your competition beats you, then you need to work on adding value to your (down line) customers...

There... maybe a bit of fuel to the fire... but for newbies they need to careful of where they place their loyalties... especially to someone who thinks the own you...

Who actually own's a down line?

I still do not understand all the ins and outs of uplines and downlines. Some uplines definitely seem to view themselves as employers or "bosses" of the downline agents, some even try to control what an agent posts to the forum, for example.

Respect is certainly a two-way Street, and agents both owe it and are owed it. IMHO, uplines should treat downline agents as clients who they wish to keep(by keeping them happy) and we downline agents should treat our uplines as we'd wish our clients to treat ourselves.
