Please Help W/ My Telemarketing Script

I would love to have any comments on how to improve my business to business telemarketing script I use for Aflac. The problem is with saturation of agents calling on employers. These are mostly new agents who are no longer around calling on companies and not doing a good job presenting to Mr. Employer. Therefore they hate hearing from seasoned agents who can actually help them. Is there a way I can call to set an appt. without them actually knowing I work for Aflac. Please Help!
 
I would say sportsnut has already answered your question. Why come back and ask the same question?

You do know what the definition of insanity is? I am sorry it was a rhetorical question: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Wikipedia will have a slightly different meaning but this is the meaning as it applies to insurance people.

You could say something to this effect:


"HOLY CRAP you answered your phone, that means that you're there." ( this will show that you are smart and that nothing is getting by you)

I will be right over..............LOL

No problem there Duck Man. It is all in fun. On a serious note I think the info that Sportsnut gave was good advice. Did you try his advice?
 
Thanks Sportsnut. That was great advice. The problem I am having is when they hear that you are with Aflac they automatically shut you down. They say you are the fourth Aflac rep that has called on us. I need an answer to that objection.
 
You can say that "4th times' a charm"

I think all too often people forget that you have to have fun with what you are doing. I am assuming that you are captive? If that is the case why not emancipate yourself and pick up an AFLAC contract on the independent side. I do not know if they will allow this but it is worth a shot.

Then you can say:

HI, this is DUCK MAN from Man insurance services.

( you would probably want a better name, but this is the best I could come up with on the fly)

I specialize in helping business owners and their employees recognize there true worth by providing them with some key insurance that many fail to think about. When would be a good time to drop by and spend 2 minutes with you.
 
What's that old saying...?

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck.... well you know.

I-exec gave you the answer... follow that game plan. The objective of the call is soley to get an appt, nothing more. Tweak your script... keep notes of what works... then do more of that. This is not really rocket science, quite as much as we all like to think it is. Good luck duck.
