Honest question. Did 12M less people really not vote this year?

I would have expected more to vote in 2024 than 2020 because 2020 was in middle of pandemic & people scared to go to polls.

Were some Democrats that turned off by the Harris & especially Waltz that they chose not to vote. Or were they disenfranchised by Harris being forced upon them with no primary after they clearly said they didn't want her in the 2020 primaries.

Seriously, what happened to those voters. I don't think they died from Covid & couldn't vote as I think only 700k died from Covid & some had to be Republicans

Record amount of campaign money spent to get a 10-15% drop in votes.

I think the vote just did not turn out. After all, Harris was the least popular VP in history of polling. Can't believe that her coronation as the Democratic nominee changed that overnight. Plus, she did nothing during the campaign to make people like and trust her.

The Dems knew they were being watched, so they couldn't cheat as much this time. Those 12 million less votes stayed in the graveyard this time.

2020 allowed mail in votes with no signature or way of verifying didn’t it? There were videos of guys wearing masks dropping hundreds of votes off at remote voting stations all at once.
I thought that explained why there were so many extra votes in the 2020 election.
Or is that just fake news?
