Polycy-vera is not a form of blood cancer.... sorry... I have the condition, I should know.

It can turn into cancer.. leukemia but generally happens late in life.

That is very good to know! I did a cursory WebMD just to get an overview and it says that it is a form of blood cancer. I guess the bottom line is: do I check the cancer box on the AARP plan or not?

Internet search says; Polycythemia vera is a bone marrow disease that leads to an abnormal increase in the number of blood cells. The red blood cells are mostly affected

I would not check the cancer box and I would think AARP would be the best shot at approval.
