Never thought I'd say / think it, but I'm about at the point where I don't want the economy to repair itself until after the federal.
It would almost be worth the wait if that's what it takes to get these people out of the whitehouse.

I don't know. I am not above wanting to see things get bad enough for people to break out of the trance state but my wishes are for a better economy.

I actually am not as convinced now as I was a couple months ago that a good economy would keep Obama purring. It is a mixed blessing. I think people are worn down and want the economy to pick up and just get their lives together again and they are sick of hearing about all these hyped up sky is falling schemes to justify health reform, stimulus, deep national debt, wall street bailouts etc.

Obama really feeds off of all of the crisis to get what he wants. I dont mind taking that away from him and seeing the folks do well too. I would like to see the economy pick up and the dems get hammered at the polls too. This will not happen of course if the folks believe that the dems are in control of the economy and the national debt but who does?

The economy is only going to pick up so much anyway because we chose to become a European style socialist economyand they are all characterized by high chronic unemployment, higher taxes, higher government benefits, and lower standard of living and chronic inflation. That is a structural change in our economy that will not go away given the choices we have made.
