Make that January thaw, which as we know is due to global warming.

I'm glad somebody brought up global warming.
For a long time, due to the incessant media references I believed it to be reality.
I have thought recently that it probably is, along with the carbon tax that it would birth, another avenue of govt. control that we would be better off without. A further attack on the middle class. I am no scientist, but I did catch Michael Crichton on Charlie Rose stating that he was not convinced that it was a reality and he even went so far as to say that Al Gore was not basing his statements on sound science?

Come on now...saying that global climate change isn't an issue just means you believe too much on conservative talk radio. Why in the WORLD would China acknowledge it if it weren't so? God only knows they would definitely benefit more if they could pass it off as pseudoscience. Believe it or not, Rush doesn't know much. As a matter of fact, if he decided to become a liberal tomorrow, he could have the same radio show with opposite arguments and hype up the same amount of people. It looks like someone does need to wake up....you.

And by your response to me earlier...are you assuming I like Obama? I just asked if you were results oriented or if there was something else behind your comment. Obviously you're not results oriented. When I was a teacher, there were many people that I assume are a lot like you. People that have to make drama out of everything and have a negative comment about everything to create that drama. It makes folks like that happy to complain and have something to be dramatic about. Maybe I'm wrong, but after many years teaching, I can tell you I'm not wrong often when judging character and personality.

Oh I don't know. They have a booming economy and all the proposals for capping emissions would exempt them and require the "world" to subsidize any caps they buy. Meanwhile their major competitors are being asked to cut back which either increases the cost of doing business or requires them curtail production or develope alterative technology which is good but also and increased cost of business.

This is a separate issue from the accepting of denying global warming. I am just saying follow the money when it comes to the Chinese. If you find some altruism and purity of heart along the way, that is fine too. It would certainly be something we have not seen before so in the meantime I would follow the money with them. Keep in mind that the commies are now the biggest capitalist on earth.
