I wouldn't be surprised if the State received the standard sales commission that would normally be paid to the MGA/GA/Agent. A state would generate FAR more income for itself that way than it would from health insurance agent fees.

GI plans sold in exchanges involving subsidies will be 0% commission. My opinion but it's on the money.
Thats no different to how it is/was in TX right now.
If you get an uninsurable client, they are directed to the State Risk Pool, agent gets zero.
Same in CA on MRMIP, $50. We are also supposed to get the same $50 for PCIP enrollments, but we'll have to wait and see if that happens.Incorrect. Agent gets $50.
