Proof Of Garaging Address Question

Hello,

I am insured with Progressive and have been since June 1st of this year. I just received an email from them requesting Proof Of Garaging Address. I sent in the required documentation, but my questions is why would they ask me to send this info after I've had the policy for a few months?

When I called to ask, I was told by a (very unhelpful) employee that they have been trying to get this documentation for awhile, but that's not true, because they keep a record of their email with me. Was my account flagged?

Does the address on the registration and license match the address on the policy? Something did not match when the insurers system issued the policy, could be the street address, the zip code. If you use a PO Box the policy will want to show the actual street address.
 
Thank you for responding! I looked through my documents, and from what I could tell, everything matched up. But I probably missed something. Thanks!
