I used one of their interface sites last year for medicare supplement marketing and was really happy with their list quality. I used Direct Marketing | Final Expense Leads | Medicare Supplement Leads | Phone Lists and Mailings. When I got my billing statement it had KBM as the company name. Made roughly 15k cold calling off a $300 list.

I like your work ethic. The busier you are the better your outcome will be.
You might want to use flyers instead of door hangers though. A flyer can be hidden from the road. A door hanger lets everybody know that no one is home. You might run into some resistance from the local HOA.

This may be a dumb question here, but if you're door knocking and the person is not home, what do you do with the flyer? Do you do your flyers on your own and print them? What, generally, is on your flyer?

It's a HUGE CMS no-no to door knock for MA plans, but for supplements, you can door knock. Would you leave supplements off your flyer/door hanger just to make sure you're not in anybody's crosshairs, or is it ok to have supplements on your flyer/door hanger?

Also, if anybody is using door hangers, can you share your design with us?

I've come to the conclusion that I've spent more time than I need to sitting on my butt over the last couple of weeks, and my production has showed that. I've vowed to myself that over the next two weeks (to start with, small steps here) I will be in front of people doing presentations or prospecting in some form or fashion, whether it's warm calling, follow up, cold calling, cold walking, whatever, for AT LEAST 8 hours a day, AT LEAST 5 days a week. And I'm going to hold myself accountable. I think one of the downsides of this business is that you are accountable to yourself alone, and it's somewhat easy to let things slip.

VaD- rural areas are great for Med Supp because the coverage allows them to go to any doctor they want which means they may not have to travel to the next big city to find a network doctor in a MA plan. That was always a strong selling point when meeting with the country folk!

I use flyers also. I carry a little hammer and nails and just nail em to the door. It serves two purposes...leave the flyer..and the pounding may just wake them up from their nap early if I didn't knock loud enough. A groggy senior is an easy sale.
