Prospects Are So Funny

Just left a ladies house, had an appointment set for this afternoon and she wasn't home, i'm not surprised. She had mailed a reply in.

Left my card, and just got a call from the office she called in said I was supposed to call her not just come by.

The guy who answered the doing said she had gone to a support group for people with depression, not a goood sign, and there where several oxygen tanks sitting around.

Had an appontment set for last Friday she meet me at the door saying she had to go to the Dr.

I don't think she is serious what say you all? think I'll trash her card.

Yeah that's nothing...I got a call from a client today off a lead card that left me this message "Hi this is Peggy ______, Im calling to cancel our appt today, do not come, I need to cancel, thank you". That in itself isn't funny....but the fact that we had NO APPT today is whats funny. I had an appt with her last week & she canceled when I got to the door, I think shes crazy, she didnt seem all there when I met her.

Gotta love the FE market!

I try not to set to far out, I will call Saturday for Monday appointments. I was supposed to see her Friday and had to reset for Tuesday, I feel like she was trying to get out of the appointment. Anyway I've spoke to her on the phone while ago and after talking to me she wants to meet I told her I am busy the next few days, and I am, and I would get back to her. Next time I'm in the neighborhood I'll call her.

The orginal appointment was set by someone else and passed on to me, she may have not been able to tell the appointment setter no.

So all it cost me was gas and she lives close, few miles so it wasn't a big deal.

I had one today that responded to a lead card. When I arrived at her home at the predetermined appointment time she was moving boxes from her storage shed to her car. She was very nice but all she would do was shrugg her shoulders and agree with me no matter what I said. After about 15 minutes she told me she was paying on 2 policies, so I asked to see the policies. Her reply was to shrugg her shoulders and in agreement say "yes". The problem was she never got up to get them. I asked her again and her reply was the same. I asked her again why she returned the card and she answered me with a shrugg and a yes. I finally handed her my business card and thanked her for her time. All of this was after I helped her move some boxes from her storage shed to her car. The things we get ourselves into.
