This post is directed at agents who have buying health insurance leads for a year or longer. I am a new agent( 3 months) and have built a spreadsheet to keep track of roi by lendor vendor but do not have a large enough sample size to make informed lead vendor buying decisions. Please provide a quantitative ranking for these 9 vendors(affordable leads now, All web, Apollo interactive, ASAP Quotes, Insure Me, Lead Bot, Leads to close, Norvax, and Superleads. The number 1 would be the most desirable lead vendor and and 9 would be the least desirable. Please provide a brief explanation of your rankings. Thank your for assisting a new agent.

And, in fairness, I stopped buying them about three years ago, so I'm a bit out of the loop.

Leadco and Netquote always were my best resources. Out of 10 leads, typically, 2 were bogus, 5 were unreachable or not interested. But three were workable and I could usually write about 1 1/2 of them, maybe 2.

So...Spend about $80 on leads, and make about $275-$350. However, Ohio premiums are low. so other states would generate higher commissions.
