Quick Question for FLA ACA Guru's

I stand corrected. I am in an expansion state and was under the impression that non expansion caused this kind of problem. Mea Culpa.

depends where you are...yes, I have a few $12000 ish in Mi getting coverage with subsidies (this was last year...).

On the non-working woman I was referring to above, I guess I didnt' get enough info...dad wants me to call them directly, but I told him I wouldn't, bc I don't want to be the bearer of bad news to his friend. I despise working in health insurance anymore....so not worth it to me.

I did a lil research on what I could tell them and it doesn't look like I can tell them anything good.

I was actually hoping to find that Volusia County had a county health plan, similar to what's around where I am at...but I didn't see one. Oh well.

I'm trying hard to stay away from anything dealing with ACA, Medicaid, or any health insurance. Just wanted to help dad's broke back friend if I could, bc he sends me a nice bit of biz from small business community.

Not to be be harsh on your dad's friend but how much initiative has she put forth trying to find a program on her own? With just a few minutes of searching on the world wide intergoogleweb it appears that more than 1 of the hospitals in Volusia County still offers health plans for people that are exactly in her situation.Filling out the paperwork and providing proof financial eligibility is a bit of a hassle to qualify for these plans but then again it's free.
