Its not the hardest job in the world but its a lot harder then most jobs and its certainly one of the hardest jobs to get started in.

I have made and placed concrete pipe, loading 100# bags of cement when I weighed a buck 40. I have pound nails in 110`, I have picked peaches in the 110`, I have worked washing cars during the day and Burger King at night. I have chained up a bus in slush during 70+ MPH winds on an island in the Bering Sea. I have unrep'd at sea after being up for 30+ hours. I have washed dishes till 2am then got up to go to high school.

Is it easy, no. But not hard. I would love to be able to start over with the internet, cell phones, computers, fax machines, email, scanners, direct deposit commissions, SI policies, Phone apps, computers, GPS, Smart phones, Cell minutes less than $1.99 per minutes, Rate cards v Rate binders, comp rates at 100%+ v 50%, National median after tax incomes higher than $26,000.

In that article it talked about a woman sleeping on her office floor with her son. That is hard.

Try the financial services industry where you regulated under FINRA and your paranoid broker/dealer. Say NO to the following:

- Internet
- Any type of dialing system
- Print advertising

Seminars are regulated to hell. Why do you think the B/D pays 200% of book value for someone to move to them?

I forgot to mention the internal scrub that your list has to go through within the broker/dealer after the DNC. On top of that, then try dealing with the insane hurdles they give you. The only thing you can sell to make their hurdles are annuities, and the payout is 1/2 of the insurance side. I forgot to mention with little or no trail.

On top of all that, every bank and insurance agency is getting into financial advisery.
