Rate Increases

That is going to vary greatly from state to state just like the cost is going to vary by state.
Unfortunately there is no one place where you can go to get that information. I find out from talking to prospects, other agents in Missouri, sometimes I call the various companies and ask them if their rates have increased recently.
What states are you selling in now? National States in Missouri just took a pretty healthy increase in September of this year. They are the most recent company that I am aware of.
It would be helpful if we had a sticky in the Senior Forum where agents could post that information from around the country.
It is rate increases that have contributed greatly to the success I have had selling Med Supps. I love rate increases.

UCT is taking big increases.
Do not know of any upcoming ones planned for Texas on Medicare Supplement Insurance.

25% increase 07-01-09 and another 22% increase again on 12-01-09 only on new policies. UCT is only just the latest company to pull the old "suck them in with rock bottom prices for a couple of years and then jack the rates right through the roof trick"........I dont need a subscription to cleo the psychic to predict that the next company to pull this old trick is going to be GERBER in a couple years.
