I am in RI and have had a few insureds thinking about setting up an LLC in Montana and registering there vehicles under the LLC name. This can all be done legally and tax free and is most often done with RV's to avois sales tax. I recently had somone who wants to do this for a all of his personal auto's to avoid registration fees, etc. I have some feedback from my underwriters on the subject but would like to here if anyone else has dealt with this first. Thanks in advance.
