You may be looking at it wrong. If you're just seeing policy A is 8.00 a month more expensive than policy B, then you are looking at it wrong.

The sale of an insurance policy is more about building trust, rapport, and confidence than it is about having the lowest price.

Having the cheapest price is not necessarily a bad thing, but if you gain a sale by convincing the customer that price is the most important issue, what happens when someone comes after you and is even cheaper. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

The last one I replaced was a term life that turned into a one year renewable and was getting expensive. I replaced it with a permanent with ABR's and had a happy client. She also had a cancer plan with them and she said she was happy with that because her friend that got cancer was very happy she had it. Fine with me, ours isn't different enough that it was worth it to try and talk her into it, besides it was old enough that ours would be a fair bit more.

Now I have a happy client that knows I won't push something on her she doesn't need.

P.S. I am not independent but run into Liberty every now and then.

most of the folks with Liberty are happy with it, because A. they may be folks that are not approached every day to change, and B. they did build a rapport with agent to have even purchased it to begin with, as above poster mentioned.

They are overpriced anyone should be able to replace the policy they are overpriced and have had so many changes lately that customers are probably pretty Leary
