"My man Mitch" here in Indiana recently went to Asia to find jobs for us Hoosiers - and guess what - he didn't spend any tax money. Don't see him dancing like a fool either. However, I do hear he is having meeting after meeting with those who DO have money and jobs. Trip was funded by private investors - I hope insurance carriers were among them. Bring on the jobs so they'll buy health insurance. Mitch does NOT like the HCR bill.

I wonder how much Medicare increases each year. When you add Medicare tax increases + higher deductibles & copays + higher Part B premiums + Medigap/MAP/MAPD increases = total increase.

This may be the reason why our brokerage has a record number of people calling in looking for Medicare Advantage plans this year. In particular, it seems like the European immigrants have networked with each other and are demanding a M.A. plan. I thought that the funding was being sapped away from these M.A. programs by Uncle Sam Obama. That's why I never re-certified. Was that a mistake?

I think there always will be MA plans - especially in larger metro areas - they just might not be "zero premium" options forever.

None of that made sense to me - I thought the libs were trying to get "no out of pocket cost" plans to people, huh? So why did they vote to CUT MA funding?

Oh - that's right. I remember - it was to assist the Pelosi administration in some fuzzy math calculations.
