This funding is strictly targeted to families who have lost a loved one as the result of Covid-19. Those applying for the funding will need to provide various forms of documentation such as the receipts and invoices that need reimbursement from funeral costs and the death certificate.

The PPP was crazy. Looked up my area & see boat dealers that had record sales get a million, an insurance agency get $3.2M, mortgage brokers with massive record sales getting millions, but local bowling alley or restaurant closed for 10 months getting 50k. If our govt is in charge, expect massive fraud & far right conservatives, far left liberals & those in the middle lined up to get a piece & their share.

While I dont agree with this new funeral reimbursement proposal in general, guessing it might not have as much unintended abuse as PPP & unemployment PUA

The House isn't through stuffing the COVID "stimulus" with pork but you can bet there are a lot of handouts in that bill.

A $3 TRILLION dollar "stimulus" is enough to give every man, woman and child $8,000. I believe some of us are getting short-changed on this deal.

I believe they are giving less than previous and lower the income drop off point as well
