Securus Select Christmas Party

I didn't think they were doing business much anymore either but I was in a home yesterday and there was a Securus laying on the table. I asked if they had already been talking to someone and they said the guy came by a couple of weeks ago.

I asked if they bought anything and they said they didn't. I asked why and they said the guy seemed kinda "lost".

I looked him up at the DOI website. Been licensed less than a year and only had 2 companies. American Memorial and Reserve National, or something like that?

Had an Ohio phone number but a Louisville, Ky address. He was a good 3 hours and a time change from home to that place. They were only 25 miles from me.

I can't beleive they are able to recruit and get people to drive 3 hours away with a limited offering of companies.

The Securus card had a Ga office address.

They used to be calked senior select in lagrange, secures select is just an agency in Lagrange that changed their name and took on the securus business model from what I understand, pretty good mail house in Lagrange and I believe Hamilton ga.

Talk about going to battle with no weapons! Two companies and one of them is GI. Reserve National is Kemper.

As indicated, the home office is in LaGrange.

I've had the pleasure of replacing their American Memorial contracts on several occasions.

It appears in Georgia they send the sales force state-wide, which accounts for why I get their agents 3 hours away, selling in my territory.

Just curious what they give there agents on the back end with american memorial?street is a level 8% for life I think so an imo could be at 11% or more . I bet they give there agents 2-3%.

Securus sells completely different Am Mem product than the rest of us. Different health questions. Different premiums. 2nd tier is a graded product. Different commission schedule.

Yes but independents can't sell it.

True but I mentioned it in case someone wanted to know what the pricing or underwriting is compared to the regular Am Mem product. It appears the Securus rate is about 15%-20% lower on the ages I looked at.
