Senior Life leads the way

Hi everyone,

Would someone with experience be willing to shed some light on the lead process with the Leads the Way app? I'm a 12 year final expense vet and will continue my normal routine of working my policy holders, direct mail, and referral business with the company I've been with forever.

But I've gotten contracted with SL to fill in a few dead spots and have the option to sell while on vacation or during other downtime.

My specific question is regarding which leads to take. I have no problem with the price of any of the leads, but if I'm going to be calling on the phone do I want to be taking the television leads? Online quote request? Facebook? And I speak Spanish -do the online request SP leads seem to sit unsold for some time?

Next up - regarding the live transfers. I've been appointed just a week and haven't taken any yet. I'm trying to get a feel for when they come in. I'm licensed in ca and Nevada and they seem very sporadic. I've seen maybe 12-15 in a week. Is there any way to know when they'll be coming to make myself available? Is there a schedule for when tv ads run? I know these things are fluid and depend on availabilities and whatever arrangements have been made with the tv networks, etc. And finally on live transfers (I'm assuming they are some of the best leads), are there certain states or regions that have a more steady flow where it would make sense to get licensed?

I was contracted direct with SL. And before this turns into a lively Internet discussion, yes, I know all the pros and cons of working in a set system for a big carrier (I run one). Yes, I know SL charges clients more and pays agents less. Yes, I know the residuals are significantly lower than what I already get, and that's all fine.

But.... having an electronic lead pop up at all hours of the day and be available to work during those times when I can't work my normal system is a big deal, and I'm looking forward to spending some time on it and potentially making it available to my agents.

Thanks everyone in advance. I've been given some great info from this group and I seriously appreciate it.

And the attachment is what I see when I open the lead app.

Considering the fact that you KNOW they pay you less, make them earn it! It can be perceived as an insult, or unprofessional at the very least, to expect someone to give you free of charge, what you willing pay another individual for what they should be providing.
Asking that question in this forum, as opposed to your upline speaks volumes about the culture over there.
Greg can answer your question, but he's not getting paid to advise you either.

I'd never pay that much for a lead that far away . . .

Are you in Alaska? Anaheim isn't 7762 miles away from anywhere in the lower 48, including Georgia (your profile). And how can Vegas be the same distance as LA? Yet Downey is only 47 miles...?
That's the same thought that came to my mind! If you traveled 7762 from any end of the U.S., you would find yourself outside of it. Makes you wonder what other information about the lead is bogus.
