Sentinel Combo App

So I did my first Sentinel Combo App for Med Supp and FE last week. Was a great sale and felt good to get the first one done with them. I called Sentinel to check on it, to make sure I did it correct and that I didn't miss something.

I also wanted to see the turn around time for approval and commission payment. They said that combo apps take about 2 weeks and expect payment around 1 week after that. My heck...really?

They said they approve the Med Supp portion first then send it to the Life dept. Then they approve it then over to commissions.

I asked them to transfer me to the commissions dept real quick. I talked to a gal there. She told me to not do a combo app and that both of them would get approved in 5 days and get paid in another 4-5 days.

Seems like a much better way to do it!

That got me thinking, so I also called RNA and asked them about their FE approval time. They said they don't do any calling to the client and they approve everything in 72 hours and I get paid the day after it's approved. I'm all over that!

Just wanted to share that with anyone that cared and maybe get some other input and tricks that could speed the commission payment part. Just running low on funds and would love to keep going at this full time.

Thanks a bunch guys!

I agree, the combo apps seem to slow down the med supplement for sure.

Can not get much easier than RNA. No PHI and No HT & WT either.

FYI on Sentinel, keep track of your commission reports. Especially after the first payment. The Utah office anyway.
